Mare Fair 2025 set a new fundraising record this year, collecting $131,331 for six equine rescue organizations through a weekend of events, auctions, and community support.
The convention’s primary beneficiary, Fallen Oak Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation (Fallen Oak), received 50% of all funds raised through official Mare Fair activities. The remaining funds were divided equally among Rainbow’s Edge Equine, Royal Blessings Rescue, Sixteen Hands Horse Sanctuary, South West Florida Horse Rescue, and Stricker Sunshine Rescue Ranch.
After taxes and fees, the six rescues received a combined total of $127,659.
Mare Fair organizers released a detailed financial summary outlining the complete distribution of funds, including copies of the wire transfer and checks verifying payment to each rescue. A PDF version of this report is available for public review.

“Mare Fair has always been about bringing our community together to make a difference,” said Joshua Hope, Head Pony In Charge of Snowpity, Inc., the nonprofit behind the convention. “Our attendees’ generosity directly supports organizations that rescue, rehabilitate, and care for equines in need.”
Organizers emphasized their commitment to transparency and community trust, noting that every dollar raised goes toward helping equines find safety, care, and new beginnings.
